THE ROAD TO THE RESURRECTION - Tuesday

I am confused today by the Master's actions. He got mad at a fig tree, cursed it, and it died right there in front of us. He said it was to give us an example of faith. Later, in the temple, He told a parable of two sons. They were both told by their father to go work in the vineyard. The first said "no" and left to go do what he wanted. The second said yes, and he started for the vineyard, got distracted, and didn't go after all. And then the first son felt bad that he'd been disobedient and rude, so he went back to the vineyard and worked after all. Jesus asked which son was obedient, which made the rulers mad again. They questioned His authority, and all He did was ask them who provided the authority to John the Baptist. They didn't want to answer that one for fear of all the people who were listening.

Now I wonder if Jesus has a brain sickness. If I stay by Him, will I catch it? Or worse, will the Scribes and Pharisees arrest Him and all those who follow Him--even me? Maybe I should return to my home. Or maybe I should stay to help the others defend Him.

Which son am I--the obedient or the disobedient? Almighty God, how do You direct me?

Ann Baxter Campbell, this is an interesting blog, and is timely being published close to Easter Sunday. To make a couple of comments, first Jesus did not have anything wrong with His brain. Jesus was and will forever be perfect, loving His children! In fact, Jesus is the only living Spirit. Jesus lives forever! No matter how we address Him, Jesus/God/Holy Spirit will always be with the believer, guiding, loving and protecting him throughout individual lives. Jesus died on the cross for us so that we can be saved. If we believe in God and continue to trust Him, we will someday live with Him in Heaven! Do not miss this trip!!! Be sure to attend the church of your choice Sunday morning. Happy Easter to everybody!

Hi Susan. Yes, I know Jesus was defect-, disease-, and sin-free. I'm writing from the POV of a bystander as the week's events happen.
No worries!
God bless your Resurrection Day too!
