Book Review - UNINTENDED CONSEQUENCES by Dan Walsh

There's just something undefinable about Dan Walsh's writing that is absolutely spellbinding. The man really knows how to spin a yarn. This is a World War II romance with all the tension you expect from (a) Dan Walsh and (b) a great WWII novel. Definitely five stars.

Unintended Consequences doesn't begin in the 1940s. No, it starts out in a present-day honeymoon of Jack Turner and his bride, Rachel. He takes her to see his grandmother, Rene'e, who had married Jack's fighter-pilot grandfather, also named Jack Turner. Trouble is, right in the middle of his introduction of his new bride to his old grandmother he receives a call that requires him to leave them.

Not too bad a problem. His grandmother agrees to tell Rachel about her own romance while he is gone. You can hear it too if you buy the book. Available from Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

I received a free copy of the book from Bookbub.com, but my opinions are always my own.
