Book Review - THE SECRET OF GRANDMOTHER'S GRANDFATHER CLOCK by Max Elliot Anderson

Every once in a while, I get to revert to my kidhood and read a mystery like I used to love back in the olden days--ones on a par with The Hardy Boys and Nancy Drew. This one (part of The Accidental Adventures of Kurt Benson and His Friends) was every bit as good. If you have kids or grandkids (nieces, nephews, young friends--you get the picture!), you should get this for them. It's exciting, uplifting, and mysterious! Recommended for about age 10 and up.

Kurt Benson's family gets bad news in this book. Kurt's grandfather has passed away quite suddenly. They drive all night to get to Grandma and Grandpa's farm. Of course, Kurt has to take the brand new model airplane he got from his dad. It hasn't even been flown yet.

More bad news--it seems Grandpa died because some person or persons scared him, and his weak heart couldn't take it. And somehow, that old grandfather clock in the hallway held a clue. Kurt and his cousin Josh just have to find out before that scary looking guy takes over the farm.

Available from Amazon.

I received this book free from the author in return for an honest review.
