Book Review--TIDE AND TEMPEST by Elizabeth Ludwig (1 free book offered)

Elizabeth Ludwig has again shown herself to be one outstanding storyteller. She's created three outstanding books for this series. The other two, No Safe Harbor and Dark Road Home, are equally spell-binding. The characters are realistic, the scenes vivid, and the sounds and scents are loud and strong.

In this one, Captain Keondric Morgan has returned to New York to find the bonnie lass who lost her beloved on his ship two years previous. Worse, her fiance was murdered on his ship by his ship's doctor, and now Tillie McGrath may also be in danger because he allowed her to see her dying fiance all that time back.

Morgan has a driving need to protect her that goes beyond his sense of responsibility. She has an independent streak and wants no man's protection. He must protect his younger brother too. She has a penance to pay to God and a home to buy for an orphanage.

An impossible situation. How will it ever come out?

Tide and Tempest is available from Amazon and Barnes and Noble in both ebook and paperback.
