This is a loving short story about a young woman forced to choose between her unborn child and her parents. Her parents are worried about their reputation and want Noelle to abort. Noelle doesn't want to abort, but she doesn't know what else to do. It's almost her birthday and Christmas, and her parents say that the day following they will take her to the clinic.
She finds a sympathetic ear in Abby, the owner of the Java Joint where Noelle works. Abby thinks she might have a solution straight from the heart of God, but they don't have much time.
