This is a nonfiction book intended to help people through life-threatening situations, and I can really see where it would help those who are fearful--even full of terror. Terror of the pain, terror of leaving their loved ones (or a loved one leaving them), or terror of the unknown. This book is one that will enlighten and comfort.
There are times when death threatens or overcomes our loved ones, and everyone has a time when their own life will be left behind. When the latter comes suddenly, there's no time to become afraid--but when the physician come into our hospital room (or to the room in his/her office) and gives us a death sentence, it can be a time of real confusion and fear. I think it's probably worse when it's a loved one. Swallowed by Life is a 10-chapter book with thought-provoking questions at the end of each chapter.
God doesn't want us to be afraid. He wants us to come to Him and know that He is able to care for us.
