Book Review--SAVING ALYSSA by Loree Lough (free book)

Speaking of "Heartwarming," this book definitely is. What do you think of when you think about the witness protection plan? Hardened criminals being given their freedom in a new environment with a new alias? People leaving the country for a few weeks or months of paid vacation while awaiting a trial for someone they are spilling the beans on?

What about a grieving widower with a small child, petrified that, despite tight security, the corrupt senator he already testified against might strike out from behind prison walls to kill his daughter as the villian had killed his wife? Once a prosperous and upward bound attorney working for the senator, Nate Judson-cum-Noah Preston is now the anxiety-bound, over-protective father of Malissa/Alyssa, and owner of a bike shop. He avoids questions about their past like a mouse avoids cats.

Enter Billie Landon, also grieving. Her baby girl had been still-born, and her then husband left her for another woman. Billie is also very private and downright stingy with information about herself.

Neither of them banked on one small girl bound and determined to find herself a mother. You should order a copy of Saving Alyssa so you can help them. Carried by Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Loree Lough is also offering one free book to a commenter on this blog. By July 16, leave your comment with your email address written thusly: anneb1944 at aol dot com.
