Monday Morning Devo--Beyond the Tomb, Part 3

Read Luke 24:36-49

Jesus was one busy Individual on the day of Resurrection. He appeared to Mary of Magdalla, then to Cleopas and a friend, possibly Luke the Physician.

After Jesus revealed Himself to Cleopas and his friend, the two men ran all the back from Emmaus to Jerusalem (a distance of seven miles) to the upper room, where His disciples were hiding.

They had no more than caught their breath and informed the disciples about their encounter when Jesus miraculously appeared in their midst. The disciples were scared spitless--they seemed to be afraid He was a ghost--until He asked them for something to eat. When He ate the fish and the honeycomb they gave Him, that convinced them.

What will it take to convince you?

Lord Jesus, please, in Your own way, reveal yourself to people still unconvinced that You are the living Son of God; the Way, the Truth, and the Life; and the Good Shepherd. Thank You, Lord.
