Book Review--BEST LAID PLANS by Peggy Blann Phifer
This is a short story, Volume 9 in Kathi Macias's 12 days of Christmas. I've known Peggy Blann Phifer as a cyber friend for a few years now, and one thing I know about her is that she loves purple. In fact, her website is called Whispers in Purple. I think you will enjoy this story with purple abundantly sprinkled throughout the volume.
Erin is feeling frantic. Only four days until her Christmas wedding, her sister Larke's plane is waylaid in Albuquerque, and they have a final dress fitting at 11 am. What else can go wrong? Plenty, it seems. You know how frantic weddings and wedding preparations can be.
It's going to become obvious to you that there are more stories here than meet the eye. I asked Peggy about it, and she assures me this story is a "bridge" and there is a prequel, To See the Sun, and a sequel is also in the works, To Hear the Wind.
Best Laid Plans is available from Amazon for only 99 cents. Before long, it will be available at Barnes and Noble and Kobo for the same price.
