I woke up Saturday morning to a big surprise and blessing. My publisher notified me that this book is listed in Amazon's top twenty new releases! (Link HERE) Now, by the time you read this it will might have sunk to much lower than the top twenty, but I will still be floating!

This book takes off where The Roman's Quest, Book One in The Truth Trilogy, left off. Marcus is a decanus (one rung below a centurion) best known for drinking too much and loving way too many ladies. However, Tribune Rufus teases him with a promotion if he can bring in the thief and murderer, Barabbas. Marcus quickly decides there are two things he wants most in life: to become a centurion and to win the love of an Egyptian girl, Meskhanet.

However, when he and twenty-six other men are instead all captured or killed by Barabbas and his men, that dashes one hope. Worse, Meskhanet doesn't even know he exists.

I'm offering two free e-books to commenters on this blog before March 15. Be sure to leave your email address so I have a way to contact you!

Marcus Varitor, Centurion is now available in ebook format on Amazon and will soon be on Barnes and Noble as well. It will soon also be available in paperback at Amazon.
