Who doesn't love a dog story? Well, how about thirty-six true stories? These stories touch my heart, maybe because they're about rescue dogs. Usually, you think of rescue dogs as ones we get from a humane society or one of the rescue societies. This book is a little unusual that way because it's also about some dogs who rescued their humans in one way or the other. Five stars!
Dogs seem intuitive when their humans are upset or sick or needing something more than a cup of coffee or a satisfying meal can bring. A lot of us have stories, and these thirty-six writers shared stories of hope and healing. I know with my own dog, she really helped me through the grieving period after my husband died. She still does on those missing the hubby days that still occur.
If you've ever loved a dog, you know what I mean. The book is available from Amazon and Barnes and Noble.
I received a free copy from one of the writers, but my opinions are my own.
