Book Review - FLOOD, A WIFE FOR SHEM by Laurie Boulden

I'm always delighted to read a good Biblical novel, and this one is that. The bonus is the bit of romance thrown in. I'm giving it four big stars.

Probably a majority of the people in the modern world have heard about the flood story--you know, Noah and the Arc. The whole story occupies only a little over four chapters in the Bible, but Laurie Boulden has fleshed out Noah and his family just beautifully, maintaining the accuracy of the Bible. Their personalities, with all the weaknesses and flaws, are there. I found it easy to get lost in her story, even though I've read the Bible version a bunch of times. I highly recommend Flood.

It's available from Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Go for it.

I received a free copy from the author of this book, but as usual my opinions are mine alone.
