1 Corinthians 13:13 "And now abideth faith, hope, charity, these three; but the greatest of these
is charity."
or: "So now faith, hope, and love abide, these three; but the greatest of these is
love."
One day this life will come to an end, both yours and mine. One day this earth will come to an end, too. When any of these end, we won't need prophecy, tongues, knowledge, preaching, teaching, churches--or for that matter, we also won't need jobs, cars, houses, heaters, air conditioners, or politics. Or weapons.
The only things we will need are faith in God, hope in His salvation, and love for Him and others.
There will be no hate, no wars, no race for riches. Only faith, hope, and love.
And joy unspeakable.
If you're in Heaven, that is.
Prayer: Father in Heaven, thank You for planning out our future for the time when we cannot. Thank You for providing Jesus: The Way, The Truth, and The Life by which we can come to You. Thank You that faith, hope, and love will always be there. Amen
