A lovely romance with plenty of tension--just the way I like it. I'd give this five stars. The plot is unusual and captivating.
How far would a woman go to protect her child? Lily Lexington Bremmer traveles hundreds of miles on a dusty, crowded train to a dinky town in the west. She hopes that will be far enough to escape her husband's family. Now, if she can just avoid the law too, maybe she'll be able to raise her five-year-old son to uninjured and happy adulthood.
Except the sheriff helps her carry her luggage to a boarding house and then keeps coming around.
Delightful. Intriguing. Scary sometimes.
Available from Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Well worth every penny.
I was given a free copy by the author, but my reviews and opinions are from my own mind and heart.
