“This month shall be your beginning of months; it shall be the first month of the year to you." Exodus 12:2, NKJV
Everybody has them, cloudy days when not one ray of sunshine can be seen anywhere. The days are dark and dreary, and you want to stay in bed with your blankie and your thumb in your mouth.
The problem comes when you yield to that wish. You hide from the world and decide that the sun will never shine again. It ain't true, folks. Remember this:
When you're feeling a little down, remember that when your clouds are at their thickest, somewhere in the world there's a beautiful sunrise or sunset. Beautiful sunrises are beautiful beginnings. Beautiful sunsets are beautiful endings--which are followed by beautiful beginnings.
Your sunrise is on the way.
Lord, You are the author of rainbows, sunsets, and especially sunrises. I love You for that. Amen.
