Book Review - THE RELUCTANT DUCHESS by Roseanna M. White.
I love regency novels, love mysteries, love inspirational suspense. Therefore, I love reading Roseanna White's novels. Tightly woven suspense, mysterious and romantic, heartrending and heartwarming. How do you do it every time, girl?
The red diamonds introduced in book #1 (The Lost Heiress) are still working their curse. The Duke of Nottingham (Brice Myerston) has charge over them, and he's done a brilliant job of hiding them. But a problem arises.
A young woman, Rowena Kinnaird, heiress (at least at the moment) of the Scottish Kinnaird title, has been brutally attacked by the man she hoped to marry, a distant cousin by the name of Malcom Kinnaird. He figured if he despoiled the heiress--especially if he got a bairn by her--would force her to marry him, making him the new chief of the Kinnaird Clan.
But he had figured without Rowena's backbone and her lifelong lady's maid--closer than Rowena's own mother had been--Lilias. Rowena refused to marry Malcom, but it was Lilias who went to the master, Rowena's father--to propose a different solution.
To trap the Duke into marriage.
Oh, goodness.
The book releases April 5. You can preorder from Amazon, or Barnes and Noble, or Christian Book Distributors. I know you want to read it now, but it's really worth the wait--so go right ahead and order it!
I was given a free copy of this book in return for an honest review.
