Saturday Sermonette - Someone He Can Count On
He has shown you, O man, what is good; And what does the Lord require of you but to do justly, to love mercy, and to walk humbly with your God? Micah 6:8, NKJV
Now would be a good time for use to demonstrate this verse to the world. France is reeling under this horrible blow from evil forces in the world.
Yes, I said evil. An old-fashioned word describing unjustified, unwarranted, unreasoning desire to harm--murderers. Paris could use a bunch of mercy. Justice has been meted to some of the ones responsible for the carnage.
If you are a Christian, you are God's mouth, hands, and feet, and He needs ones He can count on. Count on to give hugs, food, clothing, and other helps needed--police, medical, transportation, and just plain comfort and understanding.
Personally, I'm thousands of miles away. All I can do is encourage people who are closer to the events to go and do. And I can donate to someone reliable who can be one the scene.
I hope you are one God can count on. Are you?
Lord, speak to the hearts of those who are close enough to help. Please provide the transportation for them to get there and make the funds needed available. Thank You, Lord!

I pray for God to send confusion into the camps of Isis and causes them to turn on each other and kill themselves. In Jesus name, Amen.
ReplyDeleteConfusion in their camp would be great!
DeleteNot sure I want them to kill each other. I would really rather each came to know Jesus. They deserve to die, to go to hell, but so did I.
