Book Review - 21 DAYS OF GRACE by Kathi Ide

What a unique and wonderful idea! I love Christian fiction, and I love devotionals. Kathy Ide has put together the perfect combination in this collection of short stories, fictional stories about characters who go through life-altering events--just like you do.

The first story by Cindy Woodsmall is about a young wife and mother distressed because she can't go to her little sister's wedding. In the next one, Robin Bayne tells about a girl who sits at a friend's bedside while he's in a coma.

Story No. 5 by Cecil Murphey talks about people in an African village learning about Jesus for the first time from a strange man with white skin.

No. 6 by Kathy Ide writes about a young woman dealing with the sudden death of her fiance.

I'm not going to tell you about all of them, but all have one thread in common with us: we all need that touch of grace on occasion, don't we? Other authors are Renee Gutteridge, Angela Elwell Hunt, Barbara Curtis, Deborah Raney, Roxanne Anderson, Nancy Arant Williams, Kathi Macias, Diane Simmons Dill, Buck Storm, Dona Watson, Jeanette Morris, Amarilys Gacio Rassler, Carolyn Bennet Fraiser, Jeanette Hanscome, Tracy Higley, Nanette Thorsen-Snipes, DiAnn Mills, and Lori Freeland. There's bound to be at least one author in there whose writing you know and love.

With the short life application at the end of each story, this can be a daily lift for you. Try it. I promise you won't be disappointed. Available from Amazon, Barnes and Noble, and Christian Book Distributors. Oh--and the devo has a group study guide that goes with it available from Amazon and Barnes and Noble. Now, that sounds interesting!
