Book Review: THE PLAIN UNEXPECTED GIFT by Kathy Bruins
This novella is Volume Two in Kathy Macias's Twelve Days of Christmas Series. Volume Two is written by Kathy Bruins.
Evie Sternberg slides off the road during a snowstorm eleven days before Christmas and into the lap of an Amish family. Evie is not severely injured, and Jacob Rocke's wife and children try to make Evie feel at home, even though her obvious disbelief makes them feel a little uncomfortable.
Evie's purpose in being in Amish country is to write an article for a newspaper about how the Amish celebrate Christmas. Their celebration is so different from what she has experienced in the past, their family so different from hers that confusion takes over. Evie is about to experience a simply unexpected gift.
The Plain Unexpected Gift is available from Amazon, Barnes and Nobel, and Kobo.

Sounds good, & who can resist a good Christmas story? Not I! ;-)
