Saturday Sermonette - NOTHING!
Who shall separate us from the love of Christ? Shall tribulation, or distress, or persecution, or famine, or nakedness, or peril, or sword? As it is written:
“For Your sake we are killed all day long;
We are accounted as sheep for the slaughter.”
Yet in all these things we are more than conquerors through Him who loved us. For I am persuaded that neither death nor life, nor angels nor principalities nor powers, nor things present nor things to come, nor height nor depth, nor any other created thing, shall be able to separate us from the love of God which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. Romans 8:35-39, NKJV
This is my "Cling to This" passage. What can separate me from God's love? Nothing. Absolutely nothing. He loves me. Period.
And by the way? That applies to you too.
End of sermon!
Lord, when we are weak, hold us close. When we are frightened, hold us tighter. And when we feel lost, tap us on the shoulder and say, "See? I'm still here. I know the way home. Take my hand, and I'll lead you there." Amen.

Thanks, Anne. Just what I needed today. Much love to you, friend!
ReplyDeleteIt has been just what I needed for many years. It's my favorite passage. I'm glad it boosted you too!
