Book Review--A TALENT FOR TROUBLE by Jen Turano
As usual, Jen Turano's writing is delightfully humorous as well as romantically suspenseful. What's not to love about a rebelliously honest (well, sometimes) woman in danger of becoming a maiden aunt? That is, if she lives that long.
Felicia Murdock's plans to become a minister's wife, a role for which she had auditioned for the past years, come to naught when the minister she had in mind marries another. However, he's gracious enough to send another marriage-minded minister her way. A rather persistent one, in fact, determined to set Felicia back on the right track.
Grayson Sumner, aka Lord Sefton, is far from being a minister and not at all what Felicia is looking for. Even if he is handsome and makes her heart trip a lively jig.
When his past comes back to haunt him and endanger both of them, they are forced to join forces. And then....
And then you may buy the book from Amazon, Barnes and Nobel, or Christian Book Distributors. Or, if you love the possibility of winning free books, leave your email in a comment below by October 30 to be entered to win a copy of Jen Turano's latest book.

Hi Katrina!
DeleteThank you for stopping by and good luck with the drawing!
All the best,
~ Jen ~
This sounds like a fun read. I'm not quite clear when and where it takes place, though. Is it Regency England, which is what I've come to expect when I see the use of British titles, or is it Victorian, as the lovely purple gown suggests? One final question: what did you think of the story?
ReplyDeleteHi Keli!
DeleteIt's set in The Gilded Age in New York City. When I first started writing romance, I wrote Regency - and just can't seem to help myself from pulling those delightful aristocrats into some of my stories:) Thanks for stopping by and good luck with the drawing!
All the best,
~ Jen ~
