Book Review - WHISPERS IN THE GRAVEYARD by Max Elliot Anderson

And yet another five-star book produced by Max Elliot Anderson. Mr. Anderson is a prolific writer who authors books for mid-grade kids. Technically, they're for boys, but--remembering back when--girls enjoy reading mysteries even if they're just about boys.

This story features a new boy in town. He's buddies up with three other guys, and despite their best efforts they keep getting into trouble. The problem is that the bus stop is several long blocks away from where he and his friends can get on it--unless they go through the graveyard. None of them are really eager to do that, but sometimes it can't be avoided. Like when they're already past sundown getting back from the zoo, and it will be dark if they go all the way around. And then there was the time when some bigger boys were chasing them and they had to go through. As if that wasn't bad enough, they come across some grave robbers.

You see what I mean? This could be a great book for the young readers in your family. Available at Amazon and Barnes and Noble.

Mr. Anderson gave me a free copy of his book, but the opinions are my own.
