Book Review - ONE OF THE FEW: A MARINE FIGHTER PILOT'S RECONNAISSANCE OF THE CHRISTIAN WORLDVIEW by Jason B. Ladd

This is a nonfiction about a marine who relates his marine experiences as a pilot to the Christian experience and growth. It amazed me how the similarities were revealed and gave me an insight into the marine life and training I never would have thought of.

Mr. Ladd tells about his childhood and moving from base to base. When they move to Japan, he meets the young woman who will later become his wife. It isn't until long after they marry, however, that his wife's aunt informs him he's going to hell if he dies. It's really the first time anyone he'd ever given it much thought--but now he does.

I'm not a military-type person, but the author did explain all the terms so unfamiliar. So...even if you are more like me than Mr. Ladd, you'll be able to pick up his points, and he does make some excellent points.

The book is available from Amazon and Barnes and Noble
